Carbon capture, utilisation and storage technologies can play a key role in decarbonising various industrial sectors across the world. The deployment of CCUS must accelerate in both developed and emerging economies.
Multilateral development banks can play an important role in driving CCUS as part of their clean energy and decarbonisation policies. Many of them already have significant experience in assisting countries on carbon capture projects and in providing technical assistance and advice. But how do the banks see CCUS as a large-scale investment opportunity? What is needed from donor and recipient countries to boost the activity of MDBs in the area of CCUS?
In this webinar, we are joined by experts from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and European Investment bank to discuss the catalytic role that MDBs can have to drive CCUS deployment forward.
